1. Why PMS used for guest Check-out?

A Property Management System (PMS) simplifies and streamlines the guest check-out process. It ensures accurate billing, securely processes payments, and automatically updates room status for housekeeping. Additionally, PMS maintains detailed guest records for future reference and reporting. By reducing manual errors and speeding up the check-out process, it significantly enhances operational efficiency and improves the overall guest experience.

2. How do I check out of the hotel?

General Steps:

1. Go to "Operations" > "Check-out" and review the Booking Id, Customer name, Date, Number of guests, Room name, Payment status of guests scheduled to check out today.

2. Click on the three dots in the "Action" column and open the "Check-out" modal to proceed further."

3. "Review the billing details, including Order ID, Bill Type, Paid Status, and Amount. If the bill is not paid, Click on the 'Pay Bill' button and complete the payment using any mode—Cash, Card, or Online."

4 Once the bill is paid, the status will update to 'Paid.' After that, select the date and time of the guest's check-out."

5. The check-out room can be assigned for cleaning, inspection, or repair by clicking on the dropdown under 'Select Task' and assigning it to the appropriate housekeepers.


- Add "Comments" is mendatory during check-out so that the housekepper is informed about the issue and can arrange for it to be repaired."
